Meeting Minutes
May 17th, 2025

President (Steve Shrawder) calls the meeting to order at 9:05 AM

In Attendance: Steve (President) and Crystal Shrawder, John (Vice President) and Carrie Gramling, Greg Hendrickson (Treasurer), Chase Winters (Secretary), Tim Thomas, and Samantha Dranzo
Members in attendance: Mike Lackey, Dave Noyes, Kalyan Essick, Leanne Hochberg
Treasurer’s Report:
• Cumulative Balances:
o Operating – $5,553.28
o CD at Journey Bank – $18,856.83 (Matures November of 2025)

• Service 1st Federal Credit Union Loan Terms
o Weedoo Boat – 96 months (Title secured)
o Steel Storage Building, 72 months (deed secured)

o Closing will be week of May 19; Weedoo should arrive this week
o Insurance Policy for Weedoo quoted at 4K from Purdy Insurance

• Real-Estate Taxes paid for both Deeds
• All Tax years in arrears filed and paid with IRS: 2022, 2023, and 2024, waiting on this slowed the process of securing loan for Weedoo and Storage

• Assessment of $330 per year per lot with those on deed covenant will be going out soon

• A lien will be placed on properties that have not yet paid dues; if still unpaid, can request a Sheriff sale

Events Report:

• Fishing Derby
o Will be postponed for now, need sponsors, Weedoo delivery delay, etc.

• Annual Member Meeting
o August 9th at 9 AM
o Will hold election for open board member seats; to be listed on ballot need to put name in 20 days prior to meeting
• Can nominate by sending names to: secretary@beaverlake.net

• Yard sale
o August 23

• Weedoo
o Likely will start at Dam and work way up the Lake
o Should be delivered sometime this week
o Will have multiple attachments to take care of various growths
o Will be operated this year by 5 volunteers (Steve, Dale, John, Carrie, and Tim)

New Business:

• Lakeside Dr Residents – 911 Renumbering
o Got notice that houses were to be renumbered for 911 purposes
o Greg worked with Township on alternate solutions
 Put green reflector of house number at end of driveway
• This was agreed as a resolution
o At most perhaps 3 houses would need to be renumbered, but hoping those will not be impacted as well

• Point raised by member of wanting a way to communicate with BLWC members, will look at using a FB group

• Sabre Energy
o Working on pad at Strawbridge Road, want to start drilling by late Summer
o 148 acres owned by Beaver Lake Wilderness Club
